Grade and recycled-content evidence

Ask for the relevant material description and evidence for any stated recycled content.

Print and structural trials

Evaluate structure and printing using the same product and design conditions.

Recycled content versus recyclability

Recycled content and the ability to recycle a finished multi-material pack are different questions.

Material requirements for the quotation

  • Identify the actual product, intended use and any existing pack or specification.

  • List quantities by version and the delivery destination. Record which choices still need a recommendation.

Standard MOQ: 500 pieces per style, size and artwork design. Special specifications and combined orders are assessed individually. Material and performance requirements are confirmed for the specific application.

Composition versus finished-pack disposal

Stated recycled content concerns material composition. Recyclability concerns the finished pack and applicable collection or processing arrangements. Review the evidence for each claim separately, including added coatings and accessories.

Material specification and supporting documents

Request the actual material reference and specification. Check only the processes used in the chosen pack, such as printing, gluing, folding, wrapping or forming. Discuss the relevant customization.

Approve fit and appearance on the complete construction. Review affected parts after a grade, layer, coating or attachment changes. Composition, contact and performance documents must cover the specified material or item and use conditions. Ask about documentation.

Recycled board in the selected structure

Recycled content describes fibre sourcing and needs an identifiable specification. It does not by itself describe strength, print quality or how a finished package will be collected.

Confirm the grade and claimed content with applicable information, then define the weight, thickness and surface needed for the structure.

Sample review: print and structural trials

Check a printed and converted sample against the intended use. Keep material-content claims separate from claims about local recycling of the whole pack.
