Custom Flexible Pouches
Pouch structures, seals and fitments selected around the product and filling process.
Pouch shapes, gussets and fitments
Custom Stand Up Pouches
The bottom gusset lets the pouch stand upright when the fill and shape are suitable. The filled product, base and seal design are considered together.
Custom Flat Pouches
Flat pouches provide a compact format without a standing base. Seal width and the opening position affect the useful packing area.
Custom Flat Bottom Pouches
The defined base and side panels form a box-like shape when filled. Multiple panels create room for product information and branding.
Custom Side Gusset Bags
Side folds expand during filling and change the bag’s front and side profile. The seal and filled profile must fit the packing process.
Custom Spout Pouches
Spouts provide controlled access to the contents of a flexible pouch. Spout placement, cap and filling arrangements form part of the specification.
Custom Kraft Window Pouches
Kraft pouches combine a clear window with printed panels. Choose the pouch size and window position around the contents and filling process.
Custom Vacuum Pouches
Vacuum pouches are specified for the contents and the packing equipment. Film construction and sealing must work with the actual equipment and product.
Structure and application comparison
| Structure | Selection reason | What to check |
|---|---|---|
| Custom Stand Up Pouches | A bottom gusset creates a standing footprint when the fill and pouch shape work together. | Trial filling and standing stability with the intended contents. Compare flat-bottom pouches when the required footprint or display panels call for a different construction. |
| Custom Flat Pouches | A flat pouch provides a compact sealed format without a standing base. | Fill and seal a representative pouch, checking headspace and removal. Compare a gusseted format where the product requires more volume or shelf-standing presentation. |
| Custom Flat Bottom Pouches | A defined base and side panels create a more box-like filled presentation. | Inspect the base after filling and read the artwork across every panel. Choose the construction around the packed contents rather than empty-pouch appearance. |
| Custom Side Gusset Bags | Side folds expand as the bag is filled and create depth around the contents. | Trial the filling height and top seal with the intended material. Check how the filled bag stands or is supported in its display and shipping pack. |
| Custom Spout Pouches | A spout provides a defined filling or dispensing opening for a compatible product. | Trial filling, dispensing and closure with the actual contents. Evaluate leakage and handling conditions separately from appearance or nominal pouch volume. |
| Custom Kraft Window Pouches | A coffee bag can combine a selected pouch format with a degassing valve and primary seal. | Check filling and sealing with the valve in place. A valve does not replace a suitable barrier specification or establish a fixed freshness period. |
| Custom Vacuum Pouches | Choose a pouch construction that can be sealed and evacuated by the intended packing equipment. | Run a representative packing trial and inspect seals and puncture points. Confirm temperature-related uses separately; vacuum suitability does not establish cooking suitability. |
