Custom Packaging Inserts
Fitted supports that connect product protection with orderly presentation.
Paper, pulp, foam and formed inserts
Custom Paperboard Inserts
Cut and folded paperboard supports products inside the outer pack. Tabs, platforms and openings can hold an item while preserving access.
Custom Corrugated Inserts
Folded or die-cut corrugated components provide support and separation inside a carton. The insert layout is selected around the product and packing sequence.
Custom Molded Pulp Inserts
Formed pulp cavities follow selected parts of the product profile. Its geometry must balance support, access and the available outer-pack space.
Custom EVA Foam Inserts
Cut or shaped EVA cavities organise products inside a box. Cavity dimensions and contact areas affect support and removal.
Custom Foam Inserts
Foam pads, layers or shaped cavities support the packed product. Material choice depends on the item and the task the insert must perform.
Custom Blister Inserts
Formed plastic cavities locate products inside another pack. The cavity depth and flange must fit the outer box.
Custom Box Dividers
Interlocking dividers separate multiple items inside one carton. Cell dimensions and divider height are matched to the products and packing method.
Structure and application comparison
| Structure | Selection reason | What to check |
|---|---|---|
| Custom Paperboard Inserts | Folded paperboard can locate products through tabs, cut-outs and supporting panels. | Pack and remove the product several times, checking friction and visible surfaces. Compare dividers if simple separation is enough and close contouring is unnecessary. |
| Custom Corrugated Inserts | Corrugated components can support products with folded walls, pads or layered positions inside a shipping pack. | Check the complete filled outer carton with the insert installed. Evaluate product movement and cushioning as part of the full pack, not as an isolated board sample. |
| Custom Molded Pulp Inserts | A shaped pulp tray can locate products through formed cavities and support surfaces. | Check a representative formed sample for fit, surface contact and removal. A digital model cannot confirm the actual texture or the fit of the formed material. |
| Custom EVA Foam Inserts | Cut or layered EVA foam can create fitted recesses and a defined presentation surface. | Test retention without pressing on fragile controls or decorative faces. Compare other foam grades using real samples when cushioning behaviour matters more than appearance. |
| Custom Foam Inserts | Select a foam type around the product’s contact surfaces and protection needs. | Check compression, movement and removal in the finished pack. If EVA is the selected material, use the EVA-specific page to define the fitted construction. |
| Custom Blister Inserts | A formed plastic insert locates the product within one or more shaped cavities. | Use the product in a formed sample to check retention and release. A blister insert is the internal locating component; the outer retail closure is a separate decision. |
| Custom Box Dividers | Interlocking partitions separate multiple items into individual cells. | Load every cell and inspect the outer pack during handling. Compare shaped inserts where parts need contour support rather than simple separation. |
