Existing, structural and printed samples

Sample Useful for reviewing What to keep separate
Existing sample Understanding an available construction or finish. It may differ from your dimensions and material.
Structural white sample Fit, opening, assembly and product access. Final printing, colour and surface appearance.
Printed sample The agreed artwork and visible effect. Differences from the planned production process.
Pre-production reference The specified features approved for the order. Requirements outside the sample’s agreed scope.

Product dimensions and sample inputs

Provide the actual product or accurate dimensions, including caps, handles, accessories and protective wrapping. For a set, include the intended item positions. For a print review, identify the material, artwork version, colours and effects.

If the sample is meant to answer a specific question, state it explicitly: whether a jar can be removed easily, a lid clears the product, or a foil detail is legible at its finished size.

Fit, opening and appearance checks

Assemble and fill

Follow the intended packing steps and include the complete contents. Check closure and useful clearance.

Open and inspect

Review customer access, movement and surface contact. For printed samples, inspect all visible panels in their assembled orientation.

Record the decision

Identify the sample and artwork version, accepted features and any changes still required. Keep observations with the order reference.

Sample cost, timing and approval

Existing samples depend on availability. Sample charges, shipping, timing and any credit against a later production order are confirmed in the quotation. We do not apply a universal free-sample or fixed-day promise.

If the product, material or artwork changes after sampling, review which aspects need another sample or approval.
