Design for the finished product.
The small separate dieline is the lid. The longer four-panel section forms the body, with openings on two opposing sides and flaps below.
Make the lid the main display surface.
Centre the primary brand element on the lid top and allow the shallow walls to fold down around it.
- Check the logo orientation relative to the hand openings.
- Keep essential detail away from lid corner joints.
Design below the lid overlap.
Place supporting text where the lid will not cover it. Repeat a short label on more than one side if useful.
- Measure the visible body area with the lid fitted.
- Keep key content away from the vertical seam.
Leave clear space around the cut-outs.
Treat the two hand openings as interruptions in the artwork, not as solid printing surfaces.
- Avoid placing barcodes across the openings.
- Check any background pattern around the cut edges.
Prepare artwork on the approved production dieline at final size. Confirm bleed, print sides and safe margins before printing.
