Structural core versus wrapping paper
The rigid core and visible wrapping paper perform different roles. Specify them separately and review the assembled lid, corners and interior space. A decorative surface name does not identify the hidden board.
Material specification and supporting documents
Request the actual material reference and specification. Check only the processes used in the chosen pack, such as printing, gluing, folding, wrapping or forming. Discuss the relevant customization.
Approve fit and appearance on the complete construction. Review affected parts after a grade, layer, coating or attachment changes. Composition, contact and performance documents must cover the specified material or item and use conditions. Ask about documentation.

Greyboard typically acts as a structural core in a wrapped rigid package. The visible paper, adhesive and wrapping details are separate parts of the finished surface.
Specify the assembled cavity and lid fit together with core thickness. A change in wrapping-paper thickness can affect a close-fitting lid or drawer.

Inspect an assembled wrapped sample at corners, hinge areas and openings. Compare paperboard for a foldable carton when the rigid core does not serve the project.
