Size around your product.
Share both the product dimensions and the proposed overall pillow-box envelope. The internal cavity narrows near the ends.
- L
- LengthThe overall end-to-end length of the assembled pillow box.
- W
- WidthThe overall span across the broad curved face.
- H
- DepthThe maximum assembled thickness at the centre; the ends are shallower.
Overall dimensions do not describe a rectangular usable cavity. Test the product against the curved ends and closure.
Add your target size
Your values appear on the diagram and in your inquiry. The reference drawing stays at its original proportions.
Design for the finished product.
The dieline has two broad panels, four curved end flaps and one long seam tab. The curved fold lines define the usable artwork area.

Keep the main design in the central area.
Place the logo or product name where the curved face is widest and least affected by the end folds.
- Avoid placing key text across curved creases.
- Review distortion on the assembled shape.
Reserve the reverse for supporting detail.
Place a short description or small label on the opposite face while leaving the seam area clear.
- Confirm the side seam position.
- Keep background patterns simple around the seam.
Let the curved ends close freely.
Use the end flaps for background colour instead of dense text; the folds and thumb notches interrupt the surface.
- Keep important detail away from the notches.
- Check both ends with the product inside.
Prepare artwork on the approved production dieline at final size. Confirm bleed, print sides and safe margins before printing.

- Keep the layers separate.
Place the dieline on its own reference layer. Keep it out of the printed artwork unless your production file instructions say otherwise.
- Check the reading direction.
Review logos and text in the finished orientation. Carry patterns across folds only after checking their alignment.
- Approve a physical reference.
Use the appropriate sample to check fit, opening and print position before confirming production.
