Size around your product.
Use the contents' footprint to set the base size, then select a useful wall height.
- L
- LengthThe longer side of the usable tray base.
- W
- WidthThe front-to-back span across the usable tray base.
- H
- Wall heightThe vertical depth from the base to the top edge of the tray walls.
The corners fold into the tray. Check the usable corner space and specify any lid or outer sleeve separately.
Add your target size
Your values appear on the diagram and in your inquiry. The reference drawing stays at its original proportions.
Design for the finished product.
The central rectangle is the base. The four surrounding strips become walls, with small corner tabs that fold and interlock.

Decide how much artwork stays visible.
Place interior graphics around the planned contents or use the base for a consistent background.
- Check the loaded tray as well as the empty tray.
- Specify inside printing separately.
Put short information on the outside faces.
A short logo or product line can work on the shallow outer walls when enough space remains after folding.
- Keep small text away from the top cut edge.
- Align patterns at wall folds.
Keep the locking tabs functional.
Corner tabs overlap after assembly. Keep essential images and text on the uninterrupted wall areas.
- Mark concealed tab areas in the artwork.
- Check the corner locks on the chosen board.
Prepare artwork on the approved production dieline at final size. Confirm bleed, print sides and safe margins before printing.

- Keep the layers separate.
Place the dieline on its own reference layer. Keep it out of the printed artwork unless your production file instructions say otherwise.
- Check the reading direction.
Review logos and text in the finished orientation. Carry patterns across folds only after checking their alignment.
- Approve a physical reference.
Use the appropriate sample to check fit, opening and print position before confirming production.
