Handles, top folds and delivery

The gusset and bottom folds determine the expanded footprint. Specify how the top is left open, folded or otherwise closed for the actual packing process.

Choose the top opening and bottom construction around filling and closing; this style is specified without separate carry handles.

  • Working layout: Send a drawing, reference or actual product. Identify fixed requirements and options to compare.
  • Supply and assembly: Confirm flattened supply, handle positioning in the bundle, quantity per outer carton and separate identification of artwork versions.
  • Component matching: For a multi-part pack, list component sizes, assembly order and which parts the quotation includes.

Packout and shipping planning

Sample checks: expanded base and top closure

Fill the bag as intended and check standing stability and top-fold space. Do not use the flat bag width as a substitute for usable internal dimensions.

Choose the right sample stage

  • Structural sample: Check dimensions, assembly, fit and opening or application with the actual contents where relevant.
  • Printed sample: Check print areas, colour and finish. Record any differences between the sample process and bulk production.
  • Production reference: Approve the sample and artwork version before production. Recheck affected parts after changes to dimensions, materials or functional components.

Sample fees, shipping and timing are quoted per project. A visual proof cannot replace physical checks.
