Quantity Quantity per style, size and artwork design. Standard MOQ is 500 pieces; higher quantities may apply.

Film layers, seals and contact requirements

The quotation confirms the selected grade and compatible options.

Material option Specification and confirmation
Film construction Select the layer structure around the contents, filling and storage conditions. A pouch shape does not by itself specify a barrier level.
Printed outer appearance Discuss clear, opaque or paper-look areas where compatible with the selected construction. Confirm the underlying layers separately from the visual effect.
Product-contact and sealing layer Identify the filling and sealing process, including any unusual temperature or product condition. Review the material for that stated use.
Fitment interface Where a valve, zipper or spout is required, review its attachment with the film and the primary seal.

Film appearance and printing

Availability depends on the material, structure and intended use.

  • Matte or gloss appearance: Choose the requested outer look with the complete film construction. Review a printed sample for colour and surface appearance.
  • Clear or unprinted viewing areas: Mark any proposed product-viewing area on the design. Confirm whether it suits the material and protection requirements.
  • Legible product information: Reserve room for variable coding, ingredients or other supplied text as needed. Check readability on the filled pouch, not only the flat artwork.

Discuss the appropriate customization

Zippers, valves, spouts and filling

Coordinate base size, side folds and artwork panels with the filling process. The flat bottom and a standard stand-up gusset have different assembled geometries.

Discuss the top opening and reclosure with the filling method; check base formation and panel alignment on a filled sample.

  • Working layout: Send a drawing, reference or actual product. Identify fixed requirements and options to compare.
  • Supply and assembly: Identify the fill opening and how empty pouches should be counted, oriented and packed for the filling operation. Confirm fitment protection where applicable.
  • Component matching: For a multi-part pack, list component sizes, assembly order and which parts the quotation includes.

Packout and shipping planning

Sample checks: base geometry and side folds

Inspect the base after filling and read the artwork across every panel. Choose the construction around the packed contents rather than empty-pouch appearance.

Choose the right sample stage

  • Structural sample: Check dimensions, assembly, fit and opening or application with the actual contents where relevant.
  • Printed sample: Check print areas, colour and finish. Record any differences between the sample process and bulk production.
  • Production reference: Approve the sample and artwork version before production. Recheck affected parts after changes to dimensions, materials or functional components.

Sample fees, shipping and timing are quoted per project. A visual proof cannot replace physical checks.
