Print finish and writing areas

Availability depends on the material, structure and intended use.

  • Matte or gloss finish: Choose the appearance of the printed faces. If a surface must be written on, discuss that area before adding a coating or lamination.
  • Foil or relief detail: Mark the logo or feature to highlight. Review the paper, detail size and distance from holes, folds and trimmed edges.
  • Printed data and codes: Separate fixed artwork from changing information. Approve the data, position and readability on the finished piece.

Folds, holes and attachments

Coordinate card width, attachment method and hanging slot with the filled bag. The bag thickness and hanging load affect the attachment area.

Specify the bag attachment and display method; confirm the card, bag and hanger as one assembly.

  • Working layout: Send a drawing, reference or actual product. Identify fixed requirements and options to compare.
  • Supply and assembly: Specify flat or folded supply, version-separated bundles and whether strings, envelopes or other agreed components are packed separately or assembled.
  • Component matching: For a multi-part pack, list component sizes, assembly order and which parts the quotation includes.

Packout and shipping planning

Sample checks: bag attachment and hanging load

Hang the assembled pack and inspect the header, fixing and bag edge. Keep the artwork clear of folds, staples or other approved attachment positions.

Choose the right sample stage

  • Structural sample: Check dimensions, assembly, fit and opening or application with the actual contents where relevant.
  • Printed sample: Check print areas, colour and finish. Record any differences between the sample process and bulk production.
  • Production reference: Approve the sample and artwork version before production. Recheck affected parts after changes to dimensions, materials or functional components.

Sample fees, shipping and timing are quoted per project. A visual proof cannot replace physical checks.
