Pouch dimensions and visible contents

Plan the filled pouch rather than only its flat outline. The window should show the intended part of the contents after filling.

  • Give width, height, gusset and units, or provide a reference sample.
  • Allow for seals, zipper position and the usable filling opening.
  • List quantities separately for each size and artwork version.

Custom size planning

Printing around the window

Mark the window on the dieline before preparing artwork. Keep key messages and required product information on areas that remain readable when filled.

  • Specify printed faces, colours and any unprinted areas.
  • Review colour on the actual kraft surface; screen previews show layout.
  • Reserve space for batch codes and other supplied information.

Artwork and dieline support

Surface appearance and window clarity

Review the printed surface and transparent area on a physical sample. Available finishes depend on the selected layers and production method.

  • Check text contrast against the kraft colour.
  • Confirm the window outline, position and visibility of the actual contents.
  • Assess the filled pouch for creasing or artwork distortion around folds.

Filling, zipper and primary seal

A zipper provides reclosure where specified. Confirm the primary sealing step and the filling opening separately with your packing process.

  • Identify the filling equipment and intended sealing conditions.
  • Check access through the opening and the position of any tear notch.
  • Agree how empty pouches should be counted, oriented and packed for delivery.

Packout and shipping planning

Sample checks before production

Use the actual contents to check filled shape, window placement, opening and closure. The visible sample does not establish a fixed barrier level or shelf life.

  • Check dimensions and usable capacity with the intended fill.
  • Review printing and window clarity under normal viewing conditions.
  • Confirm the primary seal and any zipper with the filling process.
  • Approve the sample and artwork version before production.

Sample fees, shipping and timing are quoted per project. Choose the appropriate sample stage.

Quotation, approval and production

Approve samples and files

Record the approved sample and artwork. Scheduling follows the required sample, artwork, deposit and order confirmations.

Produce and inspect

Agree inspection methods and acceptance criteria for materials, dimensions, print, appearance and relevant assembly or fit.

Pack and deliver

Production and transit times are assessed separately. Confirm the destination, transport arrangement and delivery responsibilities.

Custom Kraft Window Pouches FAQ

Yes. Send the proposed shape and position with your artwork or reference. We review the window against the pouch dimensions, seals and selected material structure before sampling.

Not necessarily. The transparent window, sealing layer and any other layers must be specified separately. Do not treat the kraft appearance as evidence that the whole pouch is paper-only or recyclable.

Check usable capacity, the contents visible through the window, the filling opening, primary seal and any zipper. Review printing and window placement on the filled pouch.

The standard MOQ is 500 pcs per style, size and artwork. Special materials or constructions may require more. The quotation confirms the applicable quantity, sample arrangements and production timing.
